Garlic Honey Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Brussels sprouts definitely get the short end of the stick, especially with kids. They look like little cabbages and let’s face it, don’t always smell the best when cooking. I sure am glad to have gotten over that stage though since brussels sprouts are so delicious and make the perfect side dish. And if you’re still not convinced, this Garlic Honey Brussels Sprouts recipe will hopefully change your mind.
I always make brussels sprouts for Thanksgiving since I am all about the sides and this year I wanted to challenge myself to make something new. I love the idea of a hot honey sauce but I didn’t want to use hot sauce. Instead I decided to mix honey, walnut oil, fresh garlic and red pepper flakes. I was so pleased with the result I will definitely be repeating this on Thanksgiving!
