    Sakara Level II: Detox

    You have heard me talk about Sakara many times- I wrote about my 3-day meal experience here and about my love for their metabolism powder here. I just absolutely love the brand and believe in what they stand for- organic nourishing foods and a no diet mentality. And today I am talking about their Level II: Detox program.

    The Sakara Level II: Detox is a 5 day whole food cleanse that was developed with the help of an acclaimed functional medicine doctor. It will “temporarily eliminate common inflammation triggers and flood your body with potent plant nutrition.” According to Sakara, the cleanse helps to, “heal the gut, restore the metabolism, release years of toxic build-up, and hit reset on the body’s systems—revealing a healthier, brighter you.” Who doesn’t want that??

    Their next Level II: Detox starts on June 20, 2022 and in addition to meals, snacks and beverages you get supplements, daily support from Sakara’s health coaches, a dry brush, and an instructional guide. This program is great if you already follow a healthy diet and lifestyle and want to take it to the next level! Whenever I eat this salad peoples think it’s a Cesar Salad! Close, but not quite! I actually think it tastes better and I know exactly what I’m putting into it!

*for homemade roasted sunflower seeds aka “the crunch”- put raw (unsalted, unroasted) sunflower seeds on a dry pan and add cayenne pepper- let heat up and roasted about ~3 minutes or until golden!

I used to get headaches all the time but since I started eating intuitively and paying attention to my body (listening when it needs rest, feeding it supplements that it needs and avoiding foods that don’t make me feel good), my headaches are very rare!
