Healthy Homemade Tea
Not only is the “tea” recipe I am about to share with you delicious but it also has a lot of great ingredients for keeping you healthy.
This is something that my mom and myself have been making for a few years now during the Winter in order to feed our bodies warmth and to keep colds and the flu at bay. This year however, due to everything that is going on with coronavirus, we drink this almost everyday.
Please note that I am not making claims that it can cure anything but feeding your body the right ingredients and especially warm ones during this time can’t hurt.
Ingredients
Star Anise
Cloves
Cinnamon- sticks
Ginger
Hibiscus (dried)
Rosehips (dried)
Black Currant (dried)
Oregano (dried, Greek or Albanian, whole dried plants)
Sage (dried)
Thyme (dried)
Half Lemon
Cover in pot with water and leave on simmer for 10 minutes.
If you want it sweeter then add honey to your liking.
Pour and Enjoy!
