Happy 2020 everyone! Nothing new here, still love traveling and I was so happy to book a quick 3 day trip to Charleston with my friend. I haven’t really visited any Southern States (outside of FL) and was really excited because I heard only good things!
I flew down Friday morning and left Sunday afternoon which was honestly the perfect amount of time to go in the cooler months. In the summer I would like to stay on the beach and explore more of that area as well. But if you are looking to see just the city then I hope you enjoy the below itinerary as much as I did!

BREAKFAST
Eli’s Table– popular spot, can go here without a reservation. Reasonably priced. Food on the heavier side. Ordered the Croissant Avocado Egg and Cheese Sandwich and it was amazing!
Millers All Day– very cute and instagrammable spot. Reasonably priced. Got the yogurt bowl which was good and split the cinnamon bun- very hyped up but not my favorite.
Other options (didn’t try)
Toast
Another Broken Egg
LUNCH
The two places we went can also be Dinner places
Poogan’s Porch– cute spot, moderately priced. Ordered the crab soup and egg white omelette but got my eggs scrambled (preferred this over Husk)
Husk– tried to go for dinner but couldn’t get reservation. A little pricier. My friend’s french toast was bomb, my eggs and salad were ehh.
DINNER
The Establishment– recommended by hotel concierge and so good! Moderate to High prices. Can recommend the Lobster Bisque, Swordfish and Scallops- everything was amazing!
The Darling Oyster Bar– really great spot as well. Moderate prices. Loved everything my friend and I ordered which included- Oysters, shrimp, mussels, grilled octopus and scallops.
Other Options (didn’t try)
The Macintosh
Fig
Sightseeing
You can see a lot of Charleston on foot but another fun option is the Historic Carriage Ride.
There are also plantations open that do tours such as Boone Hall.
Rainbow Row
The Battery (and houses around there), recommend walking there and back to town/the hotel.
