7 Day Juice Reset
Happy New Year!! First of all I want to send you all so much LOVE. Love is my absolute favorite emotion and always has been. I believe there is no stronger energy! Secondly let’s get into this 7 day juice reset! I drink a juice every morning and have been doing this every single day (except when I was away) for 7 months. Before that I was pretty consistent but now it’s a part of my morning routine and I wouldn’t skip it willingly.
Why Do I Drink Juices?
The real short answer- because I feel good. I feel energetic and that my metabolism moves so much better too. Also, my hair has been growing at crazy fast lengths and I’m not saying it’s because of the juice but also… maybe.
Juicing extracts the vitamins and minerals from the fruit and vegetables. You could definitely eat entire fruits and veggies but would you honestly start your day with all the fruit and veggies that you get into a juice?
I was listening to a podcast where the guest was Liana Werner-Gray, a nutritionist. She said that juicing is basically second best to a vitamin IV and that hit me hard. I knew it was impactful but hearing it in those terms made me feel even better.
Juicing vs Blending?
You might be asking if you can blend the foods with water or a milk to create a fiber-ful juice or smoothie. You absolutely can but what’s the difference? With blending you are getting the pieces aka fiber of the fruits and vegetables. I am a huge fan of fiber but that isn’t our goal here. The fiber will prevent the juice from going straight into our body which is what we want to happen.
Now, if you don’t have a juicer or a place where you can purchase fresh juices then I encourage you to participate by blending. The only hinderance you might find is with some of the harder veggies such as beets and carrots. When you come to that then feel free to swap out for ingredients that blend well such as spinach, kale, cucumbers, apples, celery, berries, etc.
7 Day Juice Reset
So let’s get started shall we?! Below you will find 7 recipes for juices and I encourage you to drink one every morning on an empty stomach. If you workout in the morning then have one right after. If you take a probiotic then have one after that too. After having the juice wait at least 30 minutes before continuing with any sort of coffee, tea or matcha or food.
Juicers
I get it, juicers are definitely an investment. They are pricey but then again, aren’t fresh pressed juices? Most will run you anywhere from $8-$12. I can only really speak to the juicer that I have but I absolutely love it. It’s the Hurom HZ Slow Juicer and I did my research before buying it! It’s easy to assemble and cleaning takes me about 5 minutes and is super easy to do. I purchased it off the Hurom website and as a tip they usually provide discount codes around major holidays!
It’s available on Amazon, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and QVC.
My mom has the Omega Juicer as recommended by the Medical Medium. It’s a lower cost and also easy to assemble and clean. This juicer is amazing for making celery juice or using harder vegetables. I will say though that when it comes to using softer fruits or vegetables I find that I like the Hurom better.

Now let’s get started! These juices aren’t in any particular order so feel free to change them around or repeat some if you find you really love one. I also use ginger and fresh turmeric in almost all the recipes but if you have allergies or can’t find them then it’s okay to skip. I would highly recommend adding ginger though since it is loaded with antioxidants and can help fight off germs, illness and inflammation.
Also, one more note. These recipes are for use at any time of the year but since I am writing this in January, I am using seasonally appropriate ingredients. Oranges and grapefruit are amazing and loaded with vitamins but might not be available in the summer. Stay tuned for an updated Summer version when the time comes.
