Homemade Chocolate Sauce
I love chocolate! Yes, it’s true, but did you know a lot of the chocolate products we grew up eating have so many bad ingredients. I recently wanted a chocolate topping and so I decided to make my own homemade chocolate sauce!
First let me tell you what ingredients Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup has- High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Water, Cocoa (Adds a Negligible Amount of Fat), Sugar, Contains 2% or Less of: Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Salt, Mono- and Diglycerides (Adds a Negligible Amount of Fat), Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 60, Vanillin, Artificial Flavor.
I’m sorry- huh?? I have no idea what half of those are and if you don’t know then don’t eat it.
This homemade chocolate sauce/ syrup has 4 ingredients, that’s it. You can use it as a topping for ice-cream, crepes (like these), fruit, cakes, etc. I love to make some and then dip my fruit into it if I am craving something sweet.
